How do the rewards for a task get distributed if you did the task with a
group? I figure the money, XP,and loot from the monsters gets divided
evenly, but what if the reward includes an object?

What if I'm given a choice between a few objects and I want one choice, but
other choices are wanted by others in my group?

Does it matter whether I'm in the groups when I take the task or can I join
up with a couple people if after I try it I find the task is a little over
my head as a solo player?

Task dungeons operate the same way as any other zone as far as the
division of loot drops and coin. Everyone gets the same "reward" at
the end when you complete the task: ie coin and exp.

You get the task once you have your group formed, and it appears in
everyone's journal the same.
