hello,
I got some great advice regarding my horde priest and where to go.
Thanks. I need some more advice. My priest is level 25 and moved on
to Tarren Mill after getting lots of great exp and quest rewards in
the Ghostlands. What's the next good spot for him to move to in order
to pick up new quests and find a new inn? I have a strategy book but
it doesn't really provide a road map in terms of where to go based on
horde and level. The maps do show the different zones with the levels
of the baddies but it's not clear on what path to take. For example,
the area adjacent to Tarren Mill is the Arathi Highlands but all the
baddies there are in their low to mid 30s. My priest would get
hammered.
Thanks
Yarbles
PS
I decided to pump all my telents into the shadow tree. all of my
questing is solo. I went this direction because I thought it would
help me survive more while dishing out some damage. I was wonder what
some other's talent build was for a solo horde priest. Thanks. >> Stay informed about: What's after Tarren Mill |

Are you done with all the quests in Hillsbrad? If you just complete
all the quests there then you should be an appropriate level for
Arathi Highlands and Alterac Mountains and you'll even get quests to
point you there.
Other places for about your level are Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains
and Thousand Needles I think.

It won't really improve your survivability much until you get shadow
form except for the fact that things might die quicker so they hit you
less.
There are good talents in Disc and Holy that enable you solo
effectively with the added benefit of being able to heal better if
needed. Even if you do go for a different spec you should always take
5/5 spirit tap from the shadow tree as it is a great soloing talent no
matter what your spec.
I can't work out a different soloing spec for level 25 as I haven't
got access to a talent calculator from work. It may be that shadow is
still better at level 25 anyway.

Thanks for the info Mr. Kaye. Much appreciated. Sadly at work, all
WOW resources have been denied the masses so I can't acess stuff like
the talent calculator, thotbot, etc.. This forum has been a savior. >> Stay informed about: What's after Tarren Mill |

I'd go to Stonetalon, lots of horde quests which are relatively easy
and most of them are at your level or slightly below, should make for
some easy grinding. Thousand needles is 28+ for the most part and
Ashenvale generally turns into a gank fest, but from the sounds of it
your probably on a PvE server since Hillsbrad is really painful on
most PvP servers. >> Stay informed about: What's after Tarren Mill |

Tip for the people who suffer with proxy blocks from WoW related
content:
Try www.wowhead.com's calculator. Most proxies don't know about that
particular one. If you have one that filters directly via page content
and wording...well...dunno what to say there. Much less if they
block the entire domain: which has happened at my workplace for WoW's
main site. >> Stay informed about: What's after Tarren Mill |

As a rule, at any level, there are 3 zones appropriate to your level. For
20-30, it's Hillsbrad, Ashenvale, and Thousand Needles. There's typically
another zone that overlaps with the adjacent level band, so you also have
the southern Barrens and Stonetalon.
For 30-40, it's Arathi Highlands, Desolace, and Stranglethorn Vale, with
overlap in the Badlands and Shimmering Flats, and later the Swamp of
Sorrows.
For pure grinding (ie. no quests) you can also hit some Alliance-only
zones, such as Wetlands and Duskwood (20-30). >> Stay informed about: What's after Tarren Mill |
