I know that tailoring largely had a hard time keeping up with even
the non-raid drops and quest rewards pre-TBC, but how's it faring
with the new recipes?

(Yes, I know I can go look at Thotbott and compare, but if anyone
here has already gone to that effort and feels inclined to share,
then that'd be great.)

Matt

On the whole there's not a lot of tailored items that I've acutally
used (beyond bags).

However, I'm currently saving up my primal mooncloth for:
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=56796
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=56798
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=56797
(the downside to these being the graphics - they're just re-coloured
Prophecy items, which I never found particularly attractive - lazy
Blizzard!)

If I could ever get the patterns (or find someone with them), these
look nice too:
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=60239
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=59712

But that collection of 5 items requires 58 primal mooncloth which, at
2 per 4 days will take me 116 days to make. Or i could buy the cloth
at around 100g a piece, totalling 5800g. Hmmm.

But note that the top 3 in my list are all BoP, so if you want the
items you have to make them yourself.

The ssame goes for the similar epic tailored cloth items for warlocks
& mages too.

I've never had a problem churning out good gear for guildies starting new
casters. I look at my web-based guild roster to check out what people are
wearing and upgrade anyone who'd been unlucky with drops and rewards.

Not everyone spends every waking minute farming instances for the best
gear, nor going into debt (possibly to higher level alts) buying the best
stuff from the AH.
