Sorry, but I can't resist: how did you check? Do you have a mermaid
to ask?



Interesting point about the sharks. Mers must either not be very
numerous, or else they don't work together well, or else one would
expect at least the shallows of an ocean that contains Mers to be a
very tame place, with white dealt with about the way we deal with
grizzlies. Dangerous predators, but no match for well-organized
sentient tool users.
