Hi,
I have been rebuilding a Qbert PS that blows fuse F21 immediately upon
turning the game on. I have all the other voltages except the 30v.
Lots of new parts in that section, including caps (polarity double
checked), new 27v 5w zener at D26, diodes D21-24, 2n3055, power
resistors at R21-22. I checked all solder joints.

I have another working PS that I put in the game and everything works
fine. Sound and all. I have definately isolated the problem to the
power supply.

Anybody have any ideas? I have run out.

I searched Google and could not find any info that helped.

Thanks in advance!

Troy

I don't have the schematics before me, but is an insulator required between
the 2N3055 transistor and the heat sink?
