Ok All,
Here is the deal..
I have a 9 in 1 board in a cocktail cab...this is the first time I have
built my own cab from scratch and everything turned out fine except my
current problem:
I wired everything up according to info I found mostly here on the
newsgroup (thanks to everyone, btw). Anyway, for some reason the
Horizontial image on the screen is slightly too big. I read on here
about the H-Width Coil adjustment. So, I took my plastic screwdriver
and adjusted the coil. It helped a little, but I am still off by a
little too. Still can't see the score very well, or the number of lives
left at the bottom of the screen. I have tried all the other
adjustments and none of them seemed to help. I have a Vision Pro 19"
monitor in the cab. It is brand new. The picture looks great, it is
just this Horizontal problem driving me NUTS!!
Could it be a wiring issue? This is what I did....I have 6 colored
wires on my monitor. Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, White, & Black. I hooked
up the RGB to the appropriate JAMMA wires. I ran the ground to the
JAMMA ground (slot #1). I have the YELLOW hooked into the SYNC coming
off the JAMMA (I have also tried hooking the WHITE up to the SYNC to
try to solve this issue). Does the WHITE or YELLOW wire hook up to
someplace else? There are also two switches on the monitor chassis. One
says "HS COM" and above the switch it has the words POSI <----->NEGA
(which I assume means move the switch left or right for "positive or
negative". The problem is I don't know what that means?? Which way
should that switch be flipped?). The switch BELOW that one says "VS"
with no words above the switch. It, too, moves to the left or right.
Anyway...ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated! I have been trying to
deal with this issue the past four days by myself because I want to
learn, but now it is just frustrating!!
Anyway, please respond here or if you want to email me you can at
mterinole.DeleteThis@hotmail.com
Thanks a TON!!
