Hello,
I'm trying to figure out a U2000 monitor that works intermittently. Will
work fine for a few minutes or hours but will then suddenly bleach out or
wash out the image. In other words, go to almost all white with just enough
gray to make out a few images. Switch the game off and let it sit for a few
minutes, then it's fine again for awhile, then it happens again. I've put
in a cap kit which did seem to sharpen/brighten things up but it did not
cure this problem. Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave

I think something is heating up then not working right. You did a cap
kit bit it might also be just a bad board.

A bad board... you mean the monitor board or game board? Any idea what on
the game board would be doing this?
