Hi all,
Building out a mame cab from a World Class Bowling...was
wondering if there was any reason to leave the power supply in there.
If I am correct, the monitor gets it's juice from the main power
supply/transformer, which then provides power to the smaller power
supply which then powers the board. That being said, do I need or
should I even have that power supply in there? The power supply I
have in there now is going up anyway, and I have a replacement for it,
but if I don't need it then I will just have a nice shelf spare.
Also, what is a good solution for being able to power up the PC
in the cab with an ATX power supply? It would be one thing with an AT
supply, just leave it on, but is there a way to wire an arcade button
to the power swtich of the pc to make it nice and easy?
Thanks!

| On my system I have put a switched outlet on the inside of my machine. The
switch is on the outside that will turn the power to the outlets into which
are plugged fans marquee lights monitors and the computer. The computer is
set to turn on in the bios whenever the power is interupted and turned back
on hence forth no need to ever push the pc power button
