Did I??? LOL the one I have now is 4 years old so
it might have been this one, I *do* remember
having to get a new graphic card to play Sims 2,
how long has Sims 2 been out now, was it 2003 if
so this *is* the new computer <gulp>
it seems so *old* and outdated,

I always turn my computer off when I've done for
the day (even before if I know I won't be using it
for a couple of hours)
The fan thing is definately going to happen, I
don't really know what I want or what is best, but
this time I'm thinking of a custom build from a PC
outlet, I'll ask them about it, I have no idea
what my power supply is on this PC, I was going to
upgrade my graphic card, but I think I'll wait
now, I know one thing though, I don't want Vista
installed, I want XP, I've been hearing all sorts
of things about Vista not being able to play our
games, and that's about all I use my PC *for*.

Sims 2 came out in Sept. 2004 and yes that must be the new computer. Isn't
it a shame that a 4 yr. old computer is outdated? As much as they cost, they
should last longer. LOL

Well, actually, they DO last just fine. I've still got every computer I
ever owned and they all still do just what they are meant to do. It's just
that our desires change and we want bigger, better, faster all the time.
I've even got a 20 year old 386 that's still limping along as a perfectly
good word processor, if I want to fire it up and use it again. My old
Pentium I is being used by my four year old grandson to learn how to point
and click on a few very simple early windows games. There are two Pentium
III's upstairs, serving my college aged kids just fine as word processors,
running powerpoint for presentations and being used to surf the web and
instant message all the time. My husband is happy as a clam with my Dell
Dimension 8200 that I passed along to him when I had this new one built this
spring. And yes, I did it for this game. It's what I do for fun and about
the only money I ever spend on myself anymore, so we are all happy. LOL

I clean house only when absolutely necessary. My best advice is to have a
bunch of kids and wait till they are all mostly grown and have them take
turns coming over to do it for you.

Sorry - I was referring to my original post where the person was playing 15
hours a day, not you. Crossed wires.

Mr Sails has absolutely ZERO neat points...his parents had a
housecleaner when he was a kid since they both worked and I fear his
chore level was almost nik...it's really kind of funny because his
mother is a neatnik fussbudget about clutter...oh, that he was a SIM!
Would fix him good... >> Stay informed about: OK - Survey Time |

If you have the right hardware, Vista will play the Sims games smoother than XP
does. >> Stay informed about: OK - Survey Time |
