Stuck in Spire

Yes..., this is another one of these "help i'm stuck" messages. Sorry.

So I've opened the chair in Spire, and I've messed around with the
crystals and stuff. But I can't figure out if I'm supposed to do
anything else. I've looked at the two numbers (12-12-12 and whatever
the other one is), and tried both of those. I've filled the two cups
there with one crystal each. But now I can't find anything else to do!
Is there anything else, or should I give up on Spire and move on to
Haven? With Myst and Exile, each Age had a final goal, where you would
bring back a page - is there something similar for Revelation's Ages,
where I'll know when I've finished an Age?

Aha! You are almost done Spire!
What else is in the lab area? Perhaps an exit?
Have you noticed the "desert bird" symbol? It probably doesn't belong here.
Do you wonder where it came from? Do you wonder how it got here?
Sirrus escaped from Spire! Can you escape from his lab the same way?
