Stuck in Drow City

What were the circumstances of you being found not to be Drow?

At any rate, it sounds like the Matron Mother is still alive. She should be
inside the temple, either in the chamber that lies on the left from the
entrance or inside the "ritual room" which is across the "lobby" of the
temple.

Well, SOMEBODY has to kill the Matron Mother. Sometimes it's your party,
sometimes it's a demon lord summoned with false dragon eggs, but she
definitely has to die.

Killing her removes the seal on the city and the seal on the Underdark exit.

I finished the game with a good, neutral and evil alignment. i don
trecall having to kill a matron other. Or maybe, I just forgor
