Strat/Scholo- anyone get nice new purple drops yet?

UBRS has some *very* nice new drops, especially off of Glyth/Rend
(haven't been all the way to the General in a while). The one
disappointment is a green mace I had gotten off Anvilcrak pre-patch
that had +10 FR. When the patch hit it became a very nice blue shammy
mace, but no FR. My desperate-for-FR-gear warrior was not pleased. :/
OTOH, the blue armor Anvilcrack drops now is worth having.

Scholo drops are extremely disappointing. As others have said you can
walk away from there with nothing more than a Dark Rune or some green
trash for your trouble. And trouble it is, because there's not a
single mob that's been taken out of your way for 5-man. Scholo is a
huge timesink now. Yes, the formerly green armor sets from the
mini-bosses are nice blue sets now, but good luck getting any of it to
drop. I'm glad I got as much of the Deathbone set as I did while it
was green and plentiful, even if my tanking gear has mana regen now.
That's gotten my warrior a few odd looks to be sure!

Strath UD drops seem to be "the usual", and some of the mobs have been
thinned a bit for 5-man. With a good group it's not really any harder
than it was with 10, though the 45 min run is a challenge to be sure
(one I have not yet attempted).

BRD has a some nicer items now too, and the highly prized melee
trinket, Hand of Justice, can be much more reliably obtained. Trick
is you've got to run the emperor to get it now, which isn't too bad
with a good rogue to handle the torches in the Lyceum. Although the
drops are better here now, though, their level makes most of it of
limited usefulness to 60s.

I've seen the new cloth hat drop twice, both while playing my Rogue
and not my Warlock (I don't think it's much better than Crown of the
Ogre King, anyway). I've seen the cloak drop once (while playing my
Warlock, and it got ninja'ed anyway). Haven't seen the tome, but
history suggests I'll be playing my Rogue when it drops.

That's from four successful UBRS runs, so the new items drop fairly
frequently in my my statistically-invalid study. More research may be
in order.

p.s. And of course I saw Finkel's Skinner drop in the last run, and I
was playing my Rogue (my Warlock has skinning, and has run UBRS about
20 times, only seeing it once and losing the need roll). I'm sure the
next time I run UBRS with my Warlock, at least one of the Dal'Rend's
swords will drop, or possibly Felstriker again. (Yes, my Warlock saw
Felstriker drop, and the Sash of Mercy in the same run. Thankfully I
don't have a Druid.)
