Archived from groups: rec>games>frp>gurps (more info?)

I was browsing back issues of pyramid for campaign ideas when I stumbled
over "whimsy" or "storypath" cards.

Now, seeing as how these are out of print and I'm broke, buying them is
pretty impossible so I decided to make my own on 4x6 cards cut in half.
A few notes on a card, a bunch of cards with said notes, shuffle and I'm
in business.

Mine are different from the original in that I'll use them myself when
the action lags. Pull out a card, insert random idea into the game and
Viola! Less boredom!

These include things like pickpockets targetting a PC to finding a
lottery ticket to being hassled by a telemarketer. I must have like 70
of these now and will include all friends and enemies of the player
characters on them as well as things like the phone bill arriving in the
mail.

Know what? It's a GOOD idea.

Why don't we all contribute to make a loooong list of that?
We could even number them and then anyone of us could
write/print/whatever use his own.

If the number gets large, one could always resort to a 1d100 table, or
a computer random generator.

Would you share them with us?
We could, in turn, help you expand your idea!

15. You are hurring down a dark alley with your friend right behind
you. You turn a corner and see a body slumped in a pool of blood. You
turn it over and look into the lifeless face of your friend.

Who (or what) IS that behind you?...
