stone soup 0.3.3-tile-win32

The game has been freezing up on me. It only happens when my
character gets paralyzed (eye "gaze", quaff paralysis potion) and it
happens -every- time he's paralyzed. I end up having to force the
program to close through the control panel (where it's labeled as "not
responding").

When I bring the game back up, it opens at the last save point.

I've had the game for about a week and this problem has been happening
since the first paralysis.

I'm on Windows XP. If you need further information, I'll be happy to
provide it.

Update: I tried re-installing the game, just in case - it wouldn't be
the first time a program didn't install properly on this old comp.
And it worked. Being paralyzed doesn't freeze the game anymore (which
I verified in several incidents since I restarted yesterday), so it
obviously wasn't a game glitch. Yay! Now, if I can only get a
character to last past the tenth XP level...
