So I'm playing some games earlier and took a break so I could take the
dog out. Went for a little walk and came back to a dead monitor on my
Stargate. I turned it off, let it rest some, turned it back on, and
still nothing.

Damn.

The games powers on and plays blind, wounds are ok, etc.

There's just nothing going on with the monitor.

Could having it on for a few hours do that? I've never troubleshoot-ed
a monitor so where should I start?

And who is going to save all those astronauts??!?

And just in case its definitely dead (although no one has any tips for
me so far), doesn anyone have an extra 19" G07 in Chicago with no burn?

Also, don't they sell these new near here?

Electrohome has not manufactured a video game monitor in over 20 years.
However, www.penn-ray.com has brand new Kortek 19" horizontal mount
monitors on sale for $155 till the end of this month. This model will
be plug 'n play in your cabinet.

Don't forget to check fuse(s) on the deflection board...could be an
easy fix Smile.

Make sure your monitor chassis ground wire hasn't worked loose. That's
caused me to lose my picture in the past.
