Well,
You are NOT stuck in this section of Myst IV-game at all
You 've just made a miss-calcultaion or error.
It's easy to anwser it when ALL the lights are on, not?
When a fuse blows and when you say that ALL lights are on on the
control panel/circuit board, it simply means that you do send TOO
much power with/via the conductors>control panel/curcuit
board>curcuit>chair>lights>and next controls.
You give more feed than need on this thing (=chair).
Nopes, nothing's wrong or dammaged with the whole circuit/cables.
Only one off the conductors somewhere is setup to high, that's all. =
the lights above the controller on it.
How figuring out?
In fact the answer is right in front of you, so... if you went
allready into that chair, and you're not sure it's correct setup..
DON'T TOUCH it yet. Right there goes your fuse :-p
Go sit in that crazy control-chair and count how many lights you need
to send power in or on to activate the chair correctly.
All the lights on the chair should be on later.
Your error is that you 've just sended too much power to the chair.
Count & adjust these, make sure the lights on the control
panel/circuitboard = to all the lights on your chair.
imho this might be the conductor upstairs above Sirrus his room that
needs an adjustment of 2 lights. (-2 i think)
Check after making that adjusment, count the powered light on the
circuitboard and be sure these are equal to the power you need in the
chair. And than continue... start the sequence in the chair and have a
tuner on it with the gears down bellow (oops).
have fun.
