South Pacific Update

Once upon a time there was an ugly little warlock that lived deep in the woods
and violated young men before boiling them in pine sap and building a split
rail fence.

But enough about Barsoom. How is South Pacific - The Search for the Lost
Continent of Atlantis proceding so far?

Well, so far, so good. Okay, not really. First off all I had to remove all
vestiges of Atlantis from the the game. After almost 10 updates, nobody had
found the super continent repleat with trim young women wearing nothing but
pedicure paint.

The players have been up to no good too. Carthage broke santuary, explored and
forgot that you need to sign on after that. These players can smell fodderous
carrion 20 sectors away and the dog pile started. beep gets credit for the
first cap sack as he took the Carthage money and spent it all at Chuck E.
Cheese's. On the plus side, he does have a date to the senior prom now - in
2012.

Raistmich sent note after the second update that his civilians were not to be
trusted. One each of his three islands he managed to reduce his population to
about 1/4 of the starting value. A round of applause to Raist as we had not
seen that since the days of food (or lack there of). With the "Insert Fallic
Device Here" sign on his beaches, he was eyed for attack after the Carthage
blood had been let.

RyansTown did manage to beat off a beach assault a few updates ago. Good for
him. Being low on the power chart and having the most money is not a spot to
be envied though.

The money supply is really dwindling. WayFinder was actually rolling bums in
the back alleys to get the quarters from their paper cups. And BlackBox was
going to setup a website to raise funds but didn't have $500 necessary to
register www.GirlsInFullParkas.com.

Anyway, players are pouring mines into the water faster than than Boris Yeltsin
pouring vodka into a glass. Nobody seems to be hurting for shells, for sure.

The Windows Of Opportunity are in effect this game. Nobody has yet to quit the
game while calling me an illigitemately born mule ball licker. So that's a
good thing (right Martha!)
