Hey all,
someone once told me there was a mod so you can see who in your raid group
is Soulstoned (and maybe the time as well). Does anyone know about this mod?
When we raid we constantly keep asking each other if we have a soulstone up.
it would be nie to just open the raid window and look for an SS icon or
something like that.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
TIA

Simple. So simple you might laugh...
Raid assist can do that.

Cool. How do you do that? I have absolutely no idea how to do anything with
CTRA except move the icon around the minimap. I just install the latest
version and RL can make it do stuff on my screen

Click on the CTRA icon on your mini-map (iirc), theres a boat load of
options in there. >> Stay informed about: Soulstone mod? |

Yes.
But VERY POOR documentation.
I know it has its fans, but CTRA is not for the initiate, as the boatload of
options have obtuse names, bars, and are spread out over multiple screens --
basic, misc, additional... wtf is that?
The mod needs a good book to go with it.
In any case, the OP asked for a mod that shows SS and timers. Responses have
been that CTRA can do it, and that he should figure it out himself.
How helpful is that?
Wish I could help you dude, but a guildie helped me set up my CTRA, and
altho I can put up pics of the entire raid and see their buffs and times, I
have not a clue how to check on who has a SS other than HOVERING OVER FORTY
FOLKS pics.
Seems simpler just to ask like you have been. >> Stay informed about: Soulstone mod? |

If you use the CTRaid tab on your social pane and check the boxes to have
raid members show on your screen I believe it ought to show when you
mouseover a member - certainly the time remaining on a druid's battle res
does, and also when the player is dead you can see if they have SS
available then (it also has a rather nice thing of showing when a hunter is
feigning death, instead of really dead - there's no other obvious way to
tell as far as I know)

I just use the necrosis addon. Keeps track of all my spell timers, including
ss timer. It is a must for all raiding warlocks IMO.

You could either use TitanStones (supposed that you install TitanPanel)
http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1553
or opt for the lightweight version SnaFu which eats up nearly no
memory.
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5259 (places
itself into FuBar, a memory friendly TitanPanel replacement) >> Stay informed about: Soulstone mod? |

I use ShardTracker as a lock mod. It keeps up with all things Lock.
It includes a timer on the SS that you applied. I only use it for the
timer but I know it has a ton more options. One option it mentions is
that if anyone else in the raid/party is also running shardtracker that
ST will communicate back and forth giving you information about the
other party. I'm not sure how well it works but the idea is if you
SS's a priest and another lock SS's a war, if the war is running
shardtracker then it will tell you when both SS's timers are up. I've
never used it so I don't know if it even works but this seems to fit in
with your question.
I've tried looking at CT_RAID to see if I can eliminate any other mods.
But like has been mentioned earlier, some of the options are lightly
documented and kinda tough to configure. Eh, maybe one day... >> Stay informed about: Soulstone mod? |
