Hi!

If one has placed too many novas will then a soft destruct of some of
them avoid their detonation during a chain reaction? If so play the
IDs of the chosen MFs for soft destruct a role?

Thanks in advance

No, "soft destruct" happens after "detonate".

Minefields are processed in object ID order, regardless of they are
set to detonate or soft detonate. Nova chain reactions are put into a
separate queue and then processed after the main minefield process is
complete. So if a nova of a lower object ID is soft detonated then it
will not be in a chain reaction of a later nova detonation.

Does this address your question?

I was talking about the results of a Script I did some time ago. I
didn't suppose the ID influence; soft detonation happened before
destruction. That's why I posted a wrong answer. Sorry.

didn't suppose the ID influence; soft detonation happened AFTER
destruction. That's why I posted a wrong answer. Sorry.

Sorry again.

No big deal. Feel free to answer any way you wish. I would have done
the same if my simulations showed the same results time and time
again.
