I went to the Super Smash Bros. website today to check the latest Brawl
news. The latest entry was on what Meowth does when summoned from a
PokeBall:

At the end of the article, it says, "Huh? That definitely appears to be a
coin on its forehead, but what do you suppose they call it in Japan? Maybe
if you check the Japanese version of Smash Bros. Dojo you can find out..."
Despite the fact that I know it's called a "koban," I decided to check out
the Japanese site:

Of course, I don't understand Japanese, so I went ahead to Babelfish:

The Japanese article say pretty much the same thing. Even the ending is
more or less the same: "It is? As for having been attached to the forehead
'the gold coin' probably will be however, In the foreign country how it
probably is said. If ' the ???? fist ' you look at overseas edition, whether
it is understood? ?"
So, long story short, I learned absolutely nothing trying to read the
Japanese version. But it is called a "koban," right?
