Small Problem

Okay, I'm trying to attach something to a hot-key, for easy access. The
obvious thing to attach first is health potions.

So I go to my inventory, click on a heath potion (which uses one up, btw),
select "1", and then it's on the wheel thing. Now when I go to get more
health (and there still are some left) and select "1", nothing happens. As
a matter of fact, it seems nothing works with the hot-keys.

I must be doing something incorrectly. Could someone enlighten me as to the
correct way to assign things to hot keys?

I speak of Oblivion, btw.

You hold down 1 over the potion, and when the wheel appears, left
click the potion, thus selecting it.

I had problems too

I'm going to write down what my shortcuts are - the uncluttered
interface is nice and clean, but I keep forgetting what my shortcuts
are.
