Slow Loading VC

I rarely play any of the GTAs from the disc now, that's one of the
benefits of having a hard disk installed, but all the games load fairly
fast for me.

Which kind of PS2 do you have? I remember reading that some of the
slimline PS2s take longer to load some older games.

I have a Original one. But it may be just the disk. I got it from the
used section at a store.

Have you tried a lens cleaner? Occasionally it helps. Every six months
to a year I take my PS2 apart and give it a good clean. There are some
good pointers for cleaning PS2s in the hardware FAQs section at
Gamefaqs.com (I think they're in the Disc Read Error guides).

Alternatively you could try using a vacuum cleaner over the ventilation
slots. It helps a bit, but stripping down a PS2 isn't too difficult and
does give better performance afterwards.

yea check your pc. Its most likely due to your fragmented hard drive
