Just a head's up that Stardock's Sins of a Solar Empire has gone gold.

Sins of a Solar Empire is a space-based strategy game that combines 4X
depth with real-time game-play. It has been described as
Civilizations meets Homeworld by some of the game magazines.

Next week it should be avaialble at most stores as well as directly
from Stardock at http://www.sinsofasolarempire.com. Like Galactic
Civilizations, Since of a Solar Empire has no on disk copy protection.

Hi Brad,
I remember reading about the interesting back-story on the game. Is
the actual game campaign story-based, or is the back-story just
flavoring to help you get into character as one of the factions in a
semi-random map?

There's no specific campaign.

Instead, the game comes with a ton of single "sand box" options so that each
game can be really unique.

It undocumented, but the game runs perfectly on an old TI4600 with all the
settings on medium.

Already got it at home....Working through the tutoriol. The learning curve is pretty steep on this one....Be prepared...To sit there for a couple of hours before you really know what you are doing.
