You'd get $1.99 off? Wow. How do they stay in business at those prices?

My last vestige of "hands off religion" respect disappeared in the smoke and
choking dust of September 11th 2001, followed by the "National Day of
Prayer," when prelates and pastors did their tremulous Martin Luther King
impersonations and urged people of mutually incompatible faiths to hold
hands, united in homage to the very force that caused the problem in the
first place.

I suppose it all hangs on exactly how long an episode is, exactly.
$18 works out at €14, which is something I definitely would pay for
a game even half the length of a "normal" one. However, Steam always
whacks on extra tax for us Euroweenies.

You get to play Sin 1 in the mean time as well, which I missed out on
first time around. I am quite enjoying it now.

I'll take a look in that case. I did enjoy the original.

Is the expansion Wages of Sin also included?

John is a fanboy, pure and simple. Want some proof? He is berating Nostromo
for bashing Oblivion, a game Nostromo has has openly admitted to not
playing. Of course that doesn't stop John from bashing Half-Life 2, a game
he has openly admitted to not playing.

I take it has been patched to run on XP without any problems.

I dusted off my Sin cd recently and I got it to play on XP. Installed the
latest patch and ran it in Windows 98 compatibility mode. Plays just fine.

I tired playing it last year and I had major sound issus and minor graphical
glitches. I gave up on the game and threw the disc away. There were some
fun levels in the game.

And they're saying each episode will take about 4-6 hours to complete.
That's 36-54 hours of gaming. That's about $3-$5 per hour.

The average first person shooter costs $50 at release and takes about 10-12
hours to complete. That's about $4-$5 per hour.

I was getting into it again somewhat when my last quicksave refused to run.
I didn't feel like playing the whole level over again so I stopped playing
it. Also Oblivion is taking most of my gaming time at the moment. The new
Sin episodes looked good in the video I watched. Might be worth the price.
I'll do a wait and see on that.

I am not sure, I am running it on my desktop Windows 2000 machine. I
couldn't run the old Sin demo, so I guess it has been patched up.
