Hey all, been a LONG time since I was here.
Glad to see there still some action in the Q2 world!
I just getting back into Q2 and Kingpin and am wracking my brain looking
for the command to simulate lag / ping.
Idea is for playing local with robots so I keep my online skills up. Too
big a diff going from 0 ping (local) to my normal 100 or so(online).
Throws me all off.
Thanks for help. Keep on fraggin!

yah, Kingpin nice game too. Kinda a step closer to HalfLife. and funny
as all get-out! Love the comments/swears.
I use to know a command that would let you set an artificial ping for
playing against EraserBot in Q2 (or other robots). I've been looking
for it EVERYWHERE! I guess I never wrote it down.. not even in my eraser
config. Allways typed it in console in-game (doh!).
Allready found the timenudge for Q2, but that don't help : (
I know someone here has this command using up a couple grey cells
somewhere in back of thier brain.

Ok, stupid me.. I guess 'cmd lag "n"' ONLY works in EraserBot. What was
I saying about brain cells? Seems like there is no direct Push_Latency
in Quake2 / Kingpin. I wonder how the boys at Impact did this with Eraser?
Guess I'm gonna have to brush up on my C language skills and make my own
mod. : ( unless.. anyone hered of a simple way to simulate lag?
Sory for trouble.. was worth a shot. Keep on fraggin! -DreadDave >> Stay informed about: Simulate lag for bot practice |
