I have tried on several different occasions to set up an account with
Simtropolis. I have use three different email addresses and passwords, but
I never get sent the confirmation email that they promise. Without this
email, which provides a link to activate a new Simtropolis account, I can't
use their website. They mention that hotmail and other email services
regularly filter out their email messages, but I tried using two email
accounts that don't do this. Does anyone know why I am not getting these
confirmation emails?
Since Simtropolis is on the top of the fansite list at Simcity's official
website, I get the feeling that there mist be a lot of services available at
Simtropolis. It's also strange that they ask for donations but don't let
anyone use the site.
