Sims2 , is there's a patch that lighten the load on the CPU

Sims2 ,Mac OS 10. version is there's a patch that lighten the load on
the CPU.
I have a iMac G4 1G, and the Sims2 is Slooooowwww.
is there a way to use 2D graphics, ( the Sims 1 ) style, or minimize
the animation.?

You could always go into the options panel and turn down some of the
graphics. You have to adjust them while the game is running so you'd see if
it had any affect quick enough. So you could just keep turning settings down
until your game was running a little smoother.
