This is right at the beginning, where the sim return's Spaulding's third eye
and the statue spews green fumes at them?
First travel to Broken Wings, where you will see a short movie (or
something) where a tree gets hit by lightning. Once the movie/cut scene is
over, your sim will be standing near the burned out tree, which will have a
green arrow on it. Click on the arrow and select explore.
You sim is now at the site of a hut. If you look on the verandah of the hut,
there is a medi-pack there. Hard to miss. Big red cross on it, universal
sign for "medicine in here". Click on it and select "take medication" or
whatever the option is. You sim will go up to the medi-pack and drink a
bottle of medicine.
They will now be cured.
