I've tried lately to bring up Sims 2 Bodyshop and I get a message
saying that "BodyShop has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I have all of the EPs installed. Can I just re-install the base game,
or do I have to uninstall everything first? Really really would
rather not!
Is bodyshop downloadable as a "stand-alone" program?
Any suggestions? >> Stay informed about: Sims 2 Bodyshop: how to restore? |

Make sure you're opening BodyShop from the latest EP. I used to have
a shortcut to BodyShop on my desktop and it stopped working. Turned
out it was a shortcut to BodyShop in the original game, and I needed
the one from the latest EP I had.

And the way to do that is....
Go to Program Files/EA Games/The Sims 2 Free Time/CSBin, right click on the
Body Shop exe file and choose "Send to.... Desktop." That will put a
shortcut there.
