Haven't tried that yet but most of the time I'm ok.
However each and every time I get within sight of a bunch of Banished
Pantheon (both in DA and in Striga), or a swarm of Supatrolls in Skyway,
or the paladin building thing in Kings Row my pings jump from ~400 to
6000+.
Every time I free a hostage or click a glowie in a mission I also get a
large pause and a jump in ping.
Don't know what they've done but it seems they are now sending a
shitload of information that they didn't before and I suspect it is in
part due to the physics stuff (even when it's not being used on my end.)
Quite annoying when I zap a DE rock type that's a hostage holder and get
soundly thumped by the rubble guys before the pause of the
hostage-freeing subsides.
