Ultima novels - Looking through books on my I came across the 3 part trilogy of Ultima novels. I got these years ago and never read them. Looking them up at Amazon, I see they are out of print. I don't see any other books listed outside the..

Commodore discs names - I dl'ed a C64 emulator and one of the games I want to play again is Ultima V. My discs are buried in storage could someone tell me what the original disc names are so I can get things right when I swap them?

rotworm stew - Does anyone remember making this stuff in I? I'm having a problem because I'm supposed to put a dead rotworm into the bowl. But after I kill it the critter turns into a green blood stain before I can pick it up, and I can't pick up blood..

Spawn points? - Does anyone know how the monsters were spawned in the overworld in Ultimas 2 and 3? (and 4 and 5, I guess). Were there spots on the map that randomly spawned a random enemy? Because I honestly can't think of any time in one of those games when I saw an..

I'm playing Serpent Isle with Exult at the moment and am probably about
half way through having just been exiled to the Mountains of Freedom
prison.

I've probably explored most of the isle apart from the frozen north and
so far there is no indication of the add-on game The Silver Seed.

Will it crop up naturally during the course of the game. I rather liked
the Ultima7 Forge of Virtue idea of maxing your capabilities at the
start of the game so that you can be more invulnerable.

At the present time I know absolutely nothing about the nature or
purpose of the Silver Seed in this game.

When you're installing the add-on, the installer says to talk to Karnax
the Monk about the Amulet Of Balance.
Do this. Pick the amulet in a proper place, then use it in a proper way.

Talk to Karnax on Monk Isle. The easiest way to reach him is to die. Or you
can get there by using the Serpent Gate. He'll tell you what to do.

And don't cheat to get there. If your first visit (other than dying) is not
done via serpent gate, there might no one be on Monk Island Smile

Thanks Max. I'm sure figuring it all out is half the fun. Sadly I'm
imprisoned in the Mountains of Freedom and it was confiscated along with
nearly everything else I had. But I do have the Black Sword again ...
