I read in a developer interview, one of the most recent ones, that they
added a crossbow to Shivering Isles. Can anyone personally confirm this who
owns Shivering Isles?

There are no crossbows in the Shivering Isles expansion. The mention of
crossbows in the interview was merely a typo.
