Has anyone else here played this? It's a nice little semi-roguelike;
death takes away all your experience and carried items but you can
keep items safe in warehouses and interactions with other characters
(for companions, etc) stick around from try to try.

If you already have the ROM you can get an english patch here:

I played it for a bit when the patch was released. (AGTP does such a
great job with their fan translations!) Very difficult game and very
frustrating if you don't freeze-save. One thing I liked over it vs.
other rogue-likes is the random events and quests. Pretty cool.

If you like this one. Also try Izuma: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja
for the DS. Very similar game play.

Well it get's frustrating if you freeze save. The game is all about
dying and trying again because of various events that are triggered once
you visit some places more often. Also the warehouse system is important
to win the game. It's nearly impossible to win the game on your first
run and if you do it with savestates it just seems hilariously hard
which it certainly isn't.

Some issues of the @Play column on gamesetwatch.com cover a whole
walkthrough through the game.

It looks pretty good, wish I had a DS...
