There are plenty of common server rules around these days, some of which we
agree with, some of which we don't - e.g. I like servers that ban
cartillery, or insist on joining squads.
But I've noticed a few new ones; the worst of which was a No
Claymores/Mines/C4 rule. Hence the tanks ruled on Karkand and Jalalabad.
Some servers have variants - I was kicked from one server because I used a
claymore as 'primary weapon'. I regularly placed claymores around the mosque
in Jalalabad for example, and once I ran around a corner and ran into two
enemies, so I dropped a claymore and ran. What was I supposed to do with my
claymores? Cook with them?
One guy argued that claymores were solely for snipers to protect their
sniping site and that I was abusing them. But in reality, snipers don't
carry claymores. Normal troops do. They are offensive weapons. They are used
to protect a flank when attacking, or you use them to block escape routes...
Any thoughts? Any other server rules that we like or dont like?

What gets me is when I'm playing with the speakers on (no headphones)
and some retard starts swearing a blue streak over voip. The kids in
the room learn some vocabulary before I'm able to quit that squad. >> Stay informed about: Server rules |

It's alot of stupid rules. The most easy way to get rid of them is to avoid
playing on those servers. If a server have rules that i think is stupid i
find myself another server to play on.

- Messages and articles should be brief and to the point. Don't
wander off-topic, don't ramble and don't send mail or post
messages solely to point out other people's errors in typing
or spelling. These, more than any other behavior, mark you
as an immature beginner.
