Serpent Isle: I killed Torrissio!

I know this is another of those "Serpent Isle was only half-finished,
so there are lots of loose ends and dead ends" questions, but I
accidentally gave Torrissio his magic wand (Philanderers Friend) back
too early. And then, when I needed it to revive Fedabiblio after the
Banes are loose, he wouldn't give it to me. So I killed him. And I got
the wand and saved Fedabiblio and Gwenno and all that other stuff, but
now, it seems, I need him to sell me a spell that only he has. And
since I don't have Resurrection in this game, I'm stuck. Summon Shade
does nothing, and using the Hourglass of Fate is also not effective.

Is the spell wandering around anywhere else, or do I have to go back
to the point before I gave the wand back?

With a deafening roar and a whoosh of spray, Fluffy the Confused Dragon
swings about and addresses the awaiting newsgroup...

It depends on whether you're using Exult or not. If you are, this thread on

If not and you're running the original game via U7run or Dosbox, the
original games cheat options should allow you to resurrect him. Load the
game using SERPENT MANIMAL and they'll work when you press F2.
