I'm doing a research project on "Sensory Systems for game AI" and so
far the only info I can find on it is from Tom Lenoard on Gamasutra
for his game Theif - The Dark Project.

Does anyone in the community know of other sources for this topic?

Thanks in advance.

You might find usefull my GPG 6 article:
Constructing a Goal-Oriented Robot for Unreal Tournament Using Fuzzy
Sensors, Finite-State Machines and Extended Behavior Networks. Pinto,
H. and Alvares, L.O. Game Programming Gems VI. Mike Dickheiser (Ed.).
Charles River Media. 2006.

The presentation of a related article might be tangentially relevant
too.
