Has anyone gotten any marks on their DS screens? Nintendo told me that
the stylus doesn't leave marks on the screen. I have marks on my screen.
I'm wondering if the Polarium puzzle game caused the marks on my screen.

I also asked Nintendo how to clean the DS screen. The rep. told me to
use only cotton such as a tee shirt to wipe the screen, and No Water.
Water could seep into the sides of the screen and cause damage.
I had asked the rep if I can use those micro wipes like the ones you use
for electronics. He told me not to use those wipes on the DS screen.

Hi Carmen, and welcome to the discussion group.

As far as getting rid of scratches on the DS, I'm not sure if there is
any way of getting rid of them. I would imagine using soft cotton like
a t-shirt would decently reduce the scratch lines but it won't get rid
of them. Without a doubt, Nintendo should pack those protective films
you can buy that tape on to the DS screen because it will get scratched
up over time. I've only had my DS for about 9 months and I have gone
through three of those protective screens in that time. I handle my DS
pretty carefully but some games really punish the touch screen so I
would say covering it with a protective screen is essential.

Thank you for the information, but where can I buy those protective
films? Would Best Buy carry them?

I see you have a email address other then a webtv address. So, you must
be using a computer for internet. How did you get on the webtv
discussion groups, if you don't mind me asking?
