I cannot believe you cannot save a game where you want, at least somewhere
besides a damn checkpoint.. This stinks to me and so does her erratic
movement. reminds me of the stairs in AOD. I really had high hopes for this,
but now i want my money back, for me Lara ended with the Laste Rev, which I
liked but alot of people didn't. Why can't they get it right?
disgusted,

Erratic movements? I thought Lara moved pretty darn good! I don't
recall having a control issue past the first 5 minutes of learning in
Legend.
Savegames......I gave up on using them. I don't like checkpoints either
but there's not much you or I can do about that. >> Stay informed about: Save a game? |

It works. But like the manual says, if you load a saved game, you're
placed at whatever checkpoint was previous to the point of the save. >> Stay informed about: Save a game? |

Yes, I cannot save a game. I am talking about saving a game between
checkpoints. What magic do you use to save a game and the next day load that
game. Does yours NOT go to a checkpoint? If it doesn't, please sell me your
secret!

Cody,
I mistook your question as a sarcastic remark. It seems it wasn't and I
apoligize for my quick reaction.

Controlling Lara on the PC keyboard is a bit erratic just 90 degree turns
i.e.: N,S,E,W would anyone know if a controller would make any difference??
and the save game at checkpoints only is a bind, I gave up playing the last
Indiana Jones because of that. "TR Legion Good Game" but with a few
reservations!!!

I don't use WASD. I have never worked that well with that arrangement.
I have just about the same setup for every game I play. Basically all
my mapped keys surround the arrow keys and I use the mouse to smooth
turns, etc. The old TR is the only games I only used the keyboard for,
without the mouse. >> Stay informed about: Save a game? |

yes, gamepad makes a HUGE difference, I never used gamepad for any
other games but IMO TRL can only be enjoyed playing using gamepad,
keyboard/mouse combo is pretty sad. I bought xbox 360 controller for my
PC just for TRL (note: wireless xbox 360 does NOT work with PC, only
wired one does and if you get it you need to download third party
drivers to make triggers work)

Mouse AND Keyboard Hmm, Yes works sometimes and it does smooth the turns
when Lara is running about but not when I need it most, on the Motor Bike,
as you may have noticed I haven't got far with TRL just got in to Peru.
Thanks for all your input. >> Stay informed about: Save a game? |

Just get a Logitech wingman cordless, the drivers are either in XP or come
with it (unless you want an XBox 360 controller for another reason). The
Wingman Rumblepad works too, but the extra couple of buttons on the cordless
are needed. My problem is that CD took OUT the comera control that was in
the demo using a gamepad, and now I have a hell of a time controlling Lara
in tight quarters.
