Hi all....

I'm currently hacking the Legends demo to try and craete a version that will
actually save a game. I'm using the Commando's Strike Force 2 level demo
also from Crystal Dynamics as a basis for trying to craete a patch. The
games appear to use the same engine so hopefully I'll get there before
tomorrow night. Otherwise I can wait until Friday for the retail version! If
I manage to get it cracked I will post here. It's just a challenge to go
fu**in about with how games work.

Unfortunately it didn't work...it seems Crystal Dynamics have locked out the
save game function in all of their recent demo's. Once I have the full game
(Friday hopefully) it may be possible to modify the demo to "save" mode.

Demo - Would someone post a demo from the opm2 german magazine please?

TRL Demo - DC's impressions - Yes! Oh it's nice, real nice. Everyone talks about 'real' physics in games today, but very few games actually utilise them (the most recent that claimed that realistic physics were important was...uhm..PsyOps? Or whatever it was where you had to use ...

TRL Demo moves - For the handstand move, just hold down the spacebar instead of tapping on it. There doesn't seem to be a backflip move anymore. For the grapple swing over the rotating spikes, Lara needs to jump forwards then fire the grapple (Q key), else she swings..

TRL Demo - Swan dive (for McG ;) ) - Not sure if Tara covered this - I think she did...but...I couldn't find it after a brief hunt through the posts! To perform a swan dive, you need to jump and immediately press F. Happy diving!

TRL Demo: Finished! I love it. - When I first played the demo, my heart sank. I thought we'd been given another AoD stinker. Fortunately, after a couple of plays through the demo, I'm not of that thinking. The controls *are* tricky. There seem to be *way* too many buttons. But I'll....
