Tried the throttle at a computer store.
I fiound the movement of the throttle to be extremely stiff.
Had to hold down the unit to move it.
Is there somewhere where you can loosen the
tension on it?

Does anybody have these and how do they like them?

I mounted mine on a piece of pine wood 3/4 X 7 X 18 which gives me enough
room in betweeb the stick and throttle to clip note paper for approaches and
the sort. Gives just enough weight to keep it from moving

Small recessed screw on base of throttle to adjust tension. I had to slacken
mine off a lot and it still needs some velcro on the desk to stop it moving.

Overall a very nice stick and throttle setup.

Very Nice hotas. It would have been perfect if Saitek would have made
it Force Feedback. Lots of buttons for programming, along with 3 hat
switches, 2 variable pots good for "trim" and a virtual mouse cursor
control and mouse fire button. The stick and throttle are sturdy and
the throttle has "detent" for pushing the throttle to the stop, or for
WEP in WW-II fighters. A great "kick-ass" stick/throttle combo, and
bang for the buck.
