I've freed Mortenegro from his island prison and asked him to join, then
when we get outside the castle he is struck by lightening before we can
teleport.

I take it this is supposed to happen?

Hardly worth transferring the goods to him.

Also where the hell in Moonshade is Stephano's old house so I can use
his key to get the Rock Serpent? He says it is in the west of the city
but I can't find it anywhere unless it is part of the winery.

It's not the burnt out wreck with all the body parts in it is it?

It's not actually IN Moonshade, it's on the west side of the island in the
forest. It's almost exactly where you found Shamino after you were released
from the Mountains of Freedom.

Yes. You can bypass this by using Serpent Bond though.

Also a few more questions. Andrio only made me one worm gem ... am I
supposed to have more for each bane? Also I have tried bathing the worm
gem in the waters of discipline and logic ... nothing happends. I don't
think I'm doing this right?

Thanks for the reply.

I've turned that area upside down. There are three structures there. An
old broken down house with decomposing body parts and a basement with a
coffin in it. No locked doors anywhere. There are also a tower with
black statues of monks and a wooden edifice with a magic telescope on
it.

I can't find the Rock Serpent anywhere.

Yes ... sorry about that. I expect I spelt Andrio wrong in this same
thread as well. I meant Ducio. I seem to be able to get an unlimited
number of worm gems from him. I assume I'll need just 3.

This is the house of Vasculio the vampire who escaped Moonshade and is now
in another place of the SI's world.

The Stephano's storeroom is to southeast of it.

Do you have a sextant? If not, steal one from Captain Hawk's room in the Blue
Boar.
You'll find his house at 82 South, 98 east.
Poke around in the house when you're done with the shed, but mind the
sawblade in the wall. You can get False Coin in the locked chest on the left,
I believe the only place in the game where you can get it.
It's a very nice spell, and you'll fill up your spellbook in no time at all.

Sorry to keep bothering you all but the serpent teeth of Frigidazi and
Filberchio don't fit on the jawbone.

I take it all will be revealed in due course....

You tried all the empty spots, correct? They won't go on unless you drag them
onto the correct spot. IIRC you can double-click on the tooth, and then the
jawbone in the backpack and it'll go onto the proper spot.

Oh, duhh, that's the problem he was having. I couldn't figure out why he'd
have trouble putting the teeth in it. I was probably thinking about the
Runebag in UU and UU2 where you could add duplicates with no problem. So I
kinda assumed the same was true of the teeth.

AH! I thought Stephano's place would be within the walls of Moonshade.
It never occurred to me to look on the otherside of the wall. There are
some other buildings there as well.

Thanks for the help.

Done that.

If I could kill them then that would be a start. I had one invisibility
ring for myself. My android companions were killed after becoming
visible 4 minutes into the attack. 15 minutes later I'm still invisible
but Shamino is still very much alive and walking around. This is after
firing about 5 delayed blasts into the group. I don't know what I have
to do to kill them, maybe leave the computer on for a day in attack
mode?

I am attacking with a Fire Sword ... is there a more effective weapon I
could use?
