Missing the Wizard this game, so no clash with the Sorcerer. There
wasn't really much for the sorcerer to do this game since all the
fights were over so fast, and he didn't ever get good initiative.
Except the one time he got the drop on a room full of 8 goblins, he
threw in a 2 dice fireball from the necklace of fireballs they found
earlier and toasted 7 of them.
The cleric did show up this time, it was just RL calling last game, and
he seemed to be enjoying the game more. There wasn't really much
clash between the Cleric and Druid this time mostly as there wasn't
- but for some reason the Druid keeps using up his scrolls of vigor
after fights instead of letting the Cleric heal for free with his
spells. Doesn't make any sense to me, maybe there's just something
I don't get.
The PCs pretty much just spent a bunch of time cleaning out
Drakthar's way this time. A real slog. Just fighting goblins for
the most part, who couldn't hit the Totemist.
The cleric destroyed the undead chair. He said he turned undead at
13th lv, I for some reason didn't notice this as wrong until after
the game, and was thinking back on it (he's 4th lv). This was
starting to look like a interesting fight before that. None of the
other fights were particularly interesting.
Although there was the fight with the tiefling fighter, where I forgot
that darkness is just 'shadowy illumination' now not 'total
darkness'. I had to go back, to the round when she let it off and
ran, and when she tried to get away the 20% miss chance from
concealment wasn't enough to keep her from getting slammed with a ton
of AoOs and dying. Her poor sorcerer companion didn't get off a
single spell before going down.
The most interesting thing happened when the Totemist got green slime
dropping on him. 6 points of con and his armor pretty damaged before
the party got it off. One thing, in the DMG, the green slime just says
it does damage, it doesn't give an attack roll, or reflex save to
avoid it, which seems very very wrong.
Also was having some trouble with blogspot - google's blog host last
time I tried to post the 'story' session report, so the last couple
aren't up yet.

Why not just ask him why he does it?

Make a point of asking him, either in E-mail, or at the next game, how he
came to that figure. Because I can't think of *any* way a 4th level Cleric
would ever turn as a 13th level one.
Well, no, I take that back. If he has a Phylactery of Turning and rolled
22+ on his turn check, he may have READ it as if he was 13th level. In
which case you need to teach him how turning really works.
Hm. Wait, that would still only get him up to 12th level. Something funky
is going on here, so you need to figure out what.

That's because Green Slime is a hazard - an effect - not a monster, like it
used to be. If you have slime dripping on someone, you have a trap which
USES green slime. You write it up that way.
