SABOTAGE (Games for Fame, 1943) - A rare vintage card game coming
right out of World War II. In keeping with the war effort, the theme
of the game is for two, three or four players (or two teams) to
establish at least three factories (Tank, Aeroplane and Shipping) to
produce valuable and needed suppies to defeat the Axis while trying to
avoid the damaging effects of bombs and SABOTAGE!
CAMPAIGN!: THE AMERICAN GAME OF GO (1961) - Published in 1961 during
the time of the Centennial of the War Between the States. The game
board is made up of squares 18 long and 15 wide, with various
"battlefields" (Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Chattanooga and New
Orleans) interspersed among the blocks. Each player starts with 72
wooden discs. Each turn, a player rolls the dice and adds discs to his
or her lines, attempting to surround the battlefields in order to get
the points assigned to each battlefield. The battlefields are worth
different points to each player, depending on the size of the
battlefield and the distance from the player's home base. The back of
the board includes full color illustrations and story of important
events in the Civil War.
