| If, for example, I have a Ravenwing biker with a flamer, may I shoot
the twin linked bolters (on the bike) and the flamer (in the drivers
hand) in the same turn? I read the rules as no, I may not, but I'd
like to make sure. Any have a link to some errate or some such thing
that spells it out?

Rulebook p53:
"Each bike in a unit may fire with one weapon for each rider."
One rider, one weapon. Your choice.

Hmmm OK, but can they assault in the same turn? Rapid fire would
imply not. How about an attack bike? Shoot with one and assault with
the other?

See Rulebook p53 (again). To paraphrase:
Yes, if the entire Unit uses only RF and/or Heavy Weapons.
But, if even one Rider fires a Flamegun (as above), then no.
There is only one RF Assault Weapon available to Bikers -
Any Biker AW Specialists should be Plasgunners.

im not sure there is one, except that the rules pretty much state that you
can only fire one weapon per turn. >> Stay informed about: Rules Clarification - SM Bike shooting |

Fin
because the weapons are mounted on a bike you can rappid fire and still
charge. >> Stay informed about: Rules Clarification - SM Bike shooting |

actually a flamer would be considered an assault weapon which means you can
move, fire and charge. so it pretty much is self explanitory. >> Stay informed about: Rules Clarification - SM Bike shooting |

Interpretation? [shrug] Let's see -
RB p8 (paraphrased):
Core rules are written with respect to Infantry Units.
Other Unit Types in later sections cover specific rules.
So, to summarise my position -
Reading the Bike rules as the *only* Bike rules requires no
interpretation.
The suggestion that they're _additional_ rules *requires*
interpretation.
There's quite enough ambiguity in the book without adding more, imo.
