How is the Best Round stat calculated in BF2 ??? This is used for the
'Navy Cross' etc medals.

It's simply the maximum score you have scored in one round when you have
been US/MEC/PLA.

That is, you need to have score over 100 in at least one round to qualify
for the Navy Cross.

My best round was 240-something 'way back before the first patch. The
map was Kubra Dam. I spent my time as support in a Blackhawk full of
engineers & medics (who were throwing grenades and land mines all over
the place -- with me getting resupply points!), and we rode around
capping flags.

I doubt if I will ever be able to beat that!
