A minor bit of trivia, but it is bugging me.
All of the Robot Ships are named something that is evocative of
automated machinery or tools. Cybernaut, Instrumentality, Automa and
Golem are all obvious. Cat's Paw was not so obvious (to me) until I
remembered that someone being used without their knowledge can be
called that.
However, Vltava is a complete mystery (again, to me). The only
reference I can find is to a large river. The only vague connection is
that there are several hydro-electric generators along the river, which
could used to represent industrialization. That's quite a stretch
though.
Any idea what the source for the name, Vltava, is? >> Stay informed about: Robot ship names |
