As this buggy demo is out now has anyone managed to get it working???
I cant move my mouse cursor properly and it takes ages to load a game. Can
make a meal whilst waiting...lol

What are your system specs? The demo runs a litle slow for me to. Athlon
XP1700/512mb/GF6600. Old PC but still goodyenogh for most RTS's until this
one. Maybe the release will be more optimized.

Yes...I have an AMD Athlon 3500 (Winchester Core) 1 GB RAM & eVGA
6800NU (non-ultra) All 16 pipes & 6 Shaders enabled thru Riva Tuner & I
get some slow downs, not that bad. The Demo is a mess..no question. I
don't think I'll be paying top dollar ($49.99) for this game. I'll wait
until I can score it for $20.00. Anyway...HoMMV is coming out in a few
weeks & that's is a game that I'll lay my hard earned cash on!

What I do like about ROL? Batlles seem slower now & not such a fast
paced "crazy" mess like RON. I'm sure the finished product will act &
look much better then the demo IMHO. Oh...Yes...The Bases are WAY too
big. No need to make them with that type of a footprint. Anyway...When
Fall comes ROL can be had for $20.00 on ebay!
