I'm sure some of you have done this...what a cluster-#@$. The rewards are
great, 60g or so, plus uber weps, but wow - I can't imagine what this would
be like on a pvp server. You've got h/a trying to get/turn in quests to the
same NPC, so there's a limited amount of time you have to try to click and
accept the quest. In turning it in, I was afraid I'd lose the chance to
turn it in and my priest (not me, of course Razz) chose the wrong reward in
his haste - chose the mace instead of staff. Mace is nice, but staff
would've been usable immediately.

Done it today. Well. Almost. I logged out after killing the last boss (had
to go ASAP), and since I didn't start the quest (I just "joined" in), I
lost it :-/

It's great. Everyone helps each other. When we were doing the quest,
everyone around, horde or alliance, shot the baddies.

At places like that people really help each other. Because, if let's say a
hordy ganks us while we try to do the quest, it's VERY easy for us to keep
him from doing it all day. This will probably turn 180° once most people
have the quest done, and you see them there ruining it for others.

That said, we even had horde *tanking* them for us o.O. Can you imagine the
expression in my face when our tank was about to die, and some level 70
horde warrior charges in, taunts the mob and makes us complete the quest?

I didn't get anything due to logging out :-/ Then again, I'll have to help
guildies doing it anyway at a later time, and none of the rewards were any
good to me.

After our group did it and as more than just one other alliance group
showed, what you describe did, unbelievably, happen! Smile We were switching
out party members, too, to help the 'healer-deficent' parties out. Good
times. Smile

One other fact is that the next group can start faster on the next mob
if the previous group succeeds, as opposed to when the group fails and
you have to wait for the boss to despawn Wink

I liked the Ring of Blood questchain (and the rewards!) but I hate how
they implemented it. With Blizz loving queues so much, this would have
been a perfect occasion for adding a queue as well.

What people do tend to forget (unfortunately all too often) is that the horde
are people too. It's not always about just griefing each other, I often help
horde players on my server if I see they are in trouble etc and hope from time
to time it is reciprocated. Wink

Ring of Blood is my favorite thing about the xpac. I'm a 70 undead mage,
and I'll go there when I'm bored and just help out - both sides. I don't
care if it's horde or alliance in the ring. Every extra fireball really
helps.

I love to get the killing blow so he yells my name as 'victorious'. Smile
