Used copies of Rez seem to have made their way onto store shelves.
Tooling around the my local Gaithersburg Funcoland and EB Games, I've
found copies of Rez ($37-39) at 3 separate stores.
I usually don't pay 40 bucks for games, on principle, but I might be
willing to sample it as part of a 3-for-2 deal. I can always sell it
for 20 bucks later
Terrence Briggs, eyeing that new SF Alpha Collection, too. Wonder if
the AI for SFA2 Gold is still beastly. >> Stay informed about: Rez for PS2 back on store shelves?!?! |

Maybe someone like you sold the game back to Gamestop after the reprint

What peripheral is this? Sega-brand speed?
It *would* be Sonic-appropriate.

Eh... ask me after my next trip to the store. Shining TEARS, not
Shining FORCE, right
Terrence Briggs, found a Top Spin/NCAA Football combo disc for 3 bucks.
How does it compare to Virtua Tennis?

They ain't used. You may notice shrink-wrapped copies without the
open-edge seal, which indicates that these are PS2 games minted after
October 2005. A reprint occurred in March, and I bought a new copy for $40
or so around then.

Maybe not. I'm led to believe the reprint number was pretty big, although
I don't have the statistics in front of me. Still worth getting though, in
spite of the missing peripheral and in light of the fact that it's the
only US release.

The Trace Vibrator, the little credit-card sized pulsing device that
plugged into the USB port. Ostensibly, you were supposed to stick this
into the couch cushion or in your shirt pocket, but the slight curved
design strongly implied to many people that it was supposed to go in your
pants. The device pulses the same way that the dual shock does, along with
the beat.
I never owned or used one, for the record. Just being a completist.

Oh, don't go to any trouble for me, please. I know where to get it for
under $30, but I'm waiting for the next set of new releases so I can save
on shipping. I'm occasionally quite the skinflint.

As usual, you're over-informed

I believe you told us about the Phantasy Star USB accessory some years
ago, so I figured you'd know about this.

If you still shop at EB Games, I saw it yesterday for $30 used. You
know RPGs, though. They vary in price by as much as $10 in any given
season. I've seen Grandia Extreme dip to 17 bucks last year, then back
up to 25 last week at the same store. Weird.

More on the order of wallet sized. Even more like mouse sized (the
computer pointing device, not the transdimensional beings conducting
fiendishly subtle bahavioral studies). >> Stay informed about: Rez for PS2 back on store shelves?!?! |

I never found that Rez was that hard to find in local stores for
literally months and years after its release. Same goes for Ico. I
would see people say that these were really hard to find all the time,
while the display copies in my shop turned yellow from the sun.
As for the PS2, took me a couple of years to find Guitaroo Man but I
have been seeing used copies of it quite frequently lately.
SF Alpha Collection is pretty damn sweet and its only 20 bucks. SFA2G,
SFA3 and SPFIIT are sweet candy. SFA just never did it for me, its
ugly and they hadn't got the systems down very much yet IMHO.
Too bad I'm not having any luck with this new Hori arcade stick; I
could rule it with my Agetec's on DC and even though this is much
smoother stick (new one is not as notchy) I can't quite get it down. >> Stay informed about: Rez for PS2 back on store shelves?!?! |
