As far as i can see the platinum edition is the original RTCW (or GOTY
RTCW?) plus multiplayer-only Enemy Territory, is that right?
Anyway, both the GOTY add-on and Enemy Territory are available for free,
former needs original Version, latter is stand-alone. So I'd say it
mostly depends on prices for each version, you can't go wrong with
either one. Since single-player mode is the same in both versions, it
doesn't matter which version you'll buy, if you're not going to play
online that much.
